What a great place. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Great wine list and we had a Riesling that was perfect for the food.

An exceptional dining experience at Käfer-Schänke! Everything here is perfection — from the elegant atmosphere to the impeccable service and, of course, the unforgettable food. Each dish is beautifully crafted, full of flavor, and presented with the kind of care that shows true culinary mastery. The team is professional yet warm, making you feel both special and at home. Whether it’s a business Cocktail, a special occasion, or just an evening to treat yourself, Käfer-Schänke delivers every time. The wine selection is outstanding, the desserts are divine, and the whole experience feels timeless — classic Munich at its finest.

It’s a second visit and I need Confirmed all the positive memories. I had the atmosphere is high-end, classy, comfortable, quiet enough to speak the service, highly tentative knowledgeable, friendly, but the highlight was a food the oysters where top-notch and the Wiener Schnitzer is by far the best I ate in Munich or even Bavaria. As a hint as a side dish, don’t take the truffle fries, but Brautkartoffeln. And as dessert we had crème brûlée it was light creamy in the show of burning. The sugar on top in front of us was very nice overall expensive, but it’s totally worth it one of my favorite restaurants in Munich.

We recently celebrated an 80th birthday dinner at Käfer with a party of four, and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a beautifully decorated table, complete with a thoughtful gift box and a personalized note — such a lovely and unexpected touch that set the tone for the evening. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the night. The seasonal menu offered a great variety, including excellent vegetarian options and every dish was presented with outstanding attention to detail. We started with finger food which were tiny canapés, would necessarily repeat these, followed by the seafood platter, which was beautifully arranged and mostly delicious — though a few items were definitely for more adventurous palates! The steak tartar was a highlight — the meat quality was exceptional, fresh and flavorful. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the Spaghetti Ice. Not only is it delicious, but the way it’s prepared right at the table adds a touch of showmanship that made it a fun and memorable ending to the meal. A fantastic experience overall — Käfer made this milestone celebration feel truly special.

We had the pleasure of visiting Käfer Schänke as a group during the Champions League match, and it was absolutely perfect! The service was outstanding and incredibly attentive - we felt taken care of from start to finish. The food was top-notch, with exceptional quality and flavors that were simply unforgettable. A special shoutout to Lena Streibl, whose planning and organization couldn’t have been better. She was always focused on our needs, handled all requests with ease and even managed last-minute changes with a friendly and professional attitude. We’ll definitely be back – an amazing experience all around!
